Description

The Director of Supply Chain at Evonik's Tippecanoe manufacturing site will lead all supply chain activities, ensuring reliable supply, efficient site performance, and excellent customer support. This role involves overseeing production planning, forecasting, materials management, warehousing, shipping, customer service, and inventory operations. The director will partner with various internal departments to align supply chain strategy with production and customer needs, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: Minimum of 8 years of progressive supply chain, operations, logistics, or manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, production planning, inventory management, and operational processes.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and business objectives in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on achieving business results.
APICS/ASCM and/or Six Sigma certification preferred; experience in process improvement and operational excellence methodologies is highly desirable.
