Director, Payroll & Tax Implementation at Justworks

Justworks is hiring a Director of Payroll and Tax Implementation to lead strategic payroll and tax implementation for PEO, ASO, and HR outsourcing clients. The role combines commercial enablement, complex client migrations, multi-state tax compliance, payroll tax processing, TPA integration governance, audit and SOX/SOC 2 support, and leadership of a payroll and compliance team. Candidates need at least 10 years of payroll tax operations experience, 7 years of management experience including leading managers and teams of five or more, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or Business; CPP, CPA, or relevant payroll/tax certification is preferred. The position is based in the New York City office and offers a base salary of $166,000 to $214,000 per year.
