Description
ICON is hiring a Director of Structural Engineering to lead and own the structural engineering function for its design-build projects. Reporting to the Senior Director Design Delivery in Austin, Texas, the role serves as Engineer of Record, leads structural calculations and documentation, coordinates with architects and construction teams, manages the structural team and budget, reviews consultant and contractor submittals, and conducts field inspections and testing. The position requires 12+ years of structural engineering experience, including concrete systems, 5+ years leading structural teams, a PE license or ability to obtain Texas licensure, and experience across multiple structural systems and computational design tools.
