Director, Process Development Downstream at Avid Bioservices

Avid Bioservices is hiring a Director, Process Development Downstream to provide technical and people leadership for downstream process development of biologic and recombinant protein products from early development through scale-up, technology transfer, and manufacturing implementation. The role leads approximately five scientists and engineers, oversees chromatography, filtration, viral inactivation, process characterization, scale-up, and technology transfer, supports client and cross-functional programs, manages technical risks and development plans, and leads continuous improvement and emerging downstream capabilities. It is a full-time onsite position in Tustin, California, with a base salary of $177,600 to $222,000 annually and health, dental, and vision insurance.
