Director, Process Engineering at ASM

ASM is hiring a Director, Process Engineering – PEALD to lead advanced process development for PEALD technologies used in logic, foundry, and memory semiconductor applications. The role guides a team of process engineers, develops new processes, materials, chemistries, and hardware requirements, collaborates with customers and global R&D teams, generates intellectual property, and builds a high-performing engineering organization. Candidates need a Ph.D. in a relevant field, 10–15+ years of semiconductor or semiconductor capital equipment experience, senior technical leadership experience, and approximately 10–20% travel.
