Description

Kailera Therapeutics is hiring a Director, Program Management to support the Program Leader in planning, executing, and delivering multiple drug-development projects across asset development. The role owns integrated project plans, risks, dependencies, progress reporting, and cross-functional alignment with Clinical, Regulatory, Non-clinical, Technical Operations, and Commercial teams. It requires late-stage drug development experience, including phase 3, and is based in Waltham, Massachusetts, with onsite work three to four days per week. The position offers a $196,000–$240,000 USD salary and comprehensive benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with at least 8 years of project management experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
Required Previous Experiences: Managing cross-functional teams and complex projects in late-stage drug development, including phase 3
Experience spanning pharmaceutical and biotechnology environments, including larger organizations and high-growth biotechnology companies
Experience across clinical development, commercial, regulatory, and technical operations/CMC functions across the drug development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications: Strategic planning for NDA filing, post-approval commitments, and United States commercialization
Master’s degree in life sciences and PMP certification
Prior experience in general medicine therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, diabetes, endocrinology, or metabolic disease
