Description
Owens & Minor is hiring a Director, Quality Engineering to provide global leadership for the Quality Engineering function supporting medical device product development, manufacturing, distribution, supplier quality, and post-market activities. The role develops quality strategies and standards, leads technical teams across multiple facilities and locations, drives design controls, risk management, process validation, statistical methods, failure investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement, and partners with cross-functional functions. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, statistics, quality, or a related technical discipline is required, along with 12+ years of progressive quality engineering or manufacturing quality experience in a regulated medical device environment and 5+ years of people-leadership experience. Compensation is $170,000–$190,000 annually with a potential 20% annual bonus.
