Description
The Director of Software Engineering leads NetApp’s Production Engineering organization, overseeing reliability, security, cost efficiency, incident management, CI/CD, observability, platform engineering, and the growth of globally distributed engineering teams. The role partners with product, cloud architecture, and hyperscaler teams while also architecting and building core platforms and advancing AI-assisted self-healing operations. It requires 12+ years of software engineering experience, 5+ years of people leadership experience, strong distributed-systems and DevOps knowledge, and a hands-on engineering background. The target salary range is 227,800–338,800 USD, with benefits including health insurance and other regional offerings.
