Description
MISO is hiring a Director of Software Engineering and Architecture to set the strategy, governance, architecture standards, and operating model for its software engineering and architecture department. The role will lead AI-native and product-centric software delivery, enterprise engineering platforms, modernization, security, reliability, vendor and budget stewardship, and the development of high-performing teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, at least 10 years of progressive software engineering and architecture experience including 5 years in leadership, and experience scaling AI-native practices and enterprise engineering transformation. The position offers a base salary of $201,000–$226,000 USD annually, an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
