Harness is hiring a Director Software Engineering to lead its Application Security Testing product within the Application Security business. The role combines product strategy, technical architecture, AI-first development, and leadership of a globally distributed engineering team. Responsibilities include defining the product vision, leading architectural decisions, hiring and growing engineering teams, improving technical scalability, and partnering with customers. The position requires 14+ years of backend software development experience, 4+ years leading high-performing engineering teams, strong platform and distributed-systems expertise, familiarity with GCP, Go, and Kubernetes, and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
