Description

MSG Entertainment is hiring a Director, Venue Learning to design, build, and lead a comprehensive Venue Academy for venue-based frontline, supervisory, and operational staff. The role will create a sequenced, credentialed, technology-enabled curriculum covering onboarding through advanced mastery, partner with venue operations and HR, track learner effectiveness, and deliver an immersive onboarding experience. The position requires regular presence across New York City venues and periodic travel to Sphere in Las Vegas, and offers a salary of $175,000 to $185,000 USD.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, or a relevant degree in instructional design
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of progressive experience in learning, talent development, or organizational development
At least 3 years in hospitality, retail, entertainment, sports, or high-touch guest service environments
Experience designing structured learning programs for large frontline or hourly workforces
Experience launching learning initiatives across multiple locations
Experience onboarding frontline employees in compressed timelines
Experience leading or building a small team of training specialists, coordinators, or facilitators
