Director / VP, Mechanical Engineering & Product Design at Lyte

Lyte is hiring a Director / VP of Mechanical Engineering & Product Design to lead the architecture, integration, validation, and delivery of robotic and Physical AI hardware platforms. The role owns mechanical, optical, sensing, thermal, actuation, and embedded systems; requirements and ERS development; system-level FMEA and reliability; prototyping; NPI; manufacturing ramp; and a team of mechanical, systems integration, and product design engineers. It is an on-site position reporting to the CTO or SVP of Engineering and requires a mechanical, robotics, mechatronics, systems engineering, or related degree plus 12+ years of hardware development and 5+ years of engineering leadership.
