Description
The FDNY Agency Attorney LIII supervises the Disability Rights Unit and oversees the review and processing of reasonable accommodation requests for civilian, EMS, and Fire personnel, as well as requests from members of the public. The role provides legal guidance, conducts cooperative dialogues and undue hardship analyses, investigates disability discrimination complaints, researches applicable laws, and maintains records and reporting processes. Candidates must be admitted to the New York State Bar and meet one of three experience or internship qualifications; assignment-level requirements also apply.
