The client is hiring a Disease Intervention Specialist 2 / RISE Navigator for a nine-month W2 contract in Newport, Tennessee, with a hybrid arrangement and local-candidate-only status. The role provides substance use disorder screening and assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, outreach, education, referrals, documentation, partnership development, and recovery support across the assigned East Tennessee county. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, understand medication-assisted recovery, and have experience with peer support and diverse populations; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance may be required, and background checks and registry reviews are required.
