Description
The Dishwasher maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities include sorting and rinsing dishes, washing pots and pans by hand, changing dish-machine water, removing trash and recyclables, setting up and cleaning the dishwashing area, sweeping and mopping floors, and notifying a manager of unsafe dish-machine temperatures. The role requires physical ability to carry 50 pounds, climb stairs, stand for long periods, work weekends and some holidays, and maintain composure during high-volume service.
