Description
South Metro Fire Rescue is accepting ongoing applications for a full-time Emergency Services Dispatcher. The role responds to emergency calls, takes calls, uses radio and dispatch systems, monitors system status, and supports EMS and fire resources. Dispatchers rotate through call-taking, radio, system-status, operations talk-group, and support positions. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, GED, or post-high-school education; public safety dispatching or 911 call-center experience is preferred, while comparable military communications experience may be considered.
