Description
The Dispatcher - Regional coordinates freight across local, regional, OTR, and linehaul routes by scheduling, assigning, tracking, and communicating shipment and driver information. The role supports company-employed and independent contractor drivers, monitors service performance and compliance, escalates disruptions, provides customer updates, and assists with driver onboarding. It requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, dispatch or transportation experience preferred, and a 100% on-site work arrangement.
