Description
This entry-level dispatch role plans and distributes driver schedules and appointments, coordinates driver and location activity, maintains dispatch records, handles driver service failures and discipline, processes payroll and ATPs, oversees HOS and ELD updates, manages roadside repairs and rail/port reservations, and supports driver recruiting and retention. The position requires 1 to 2 years of dispatch experience, knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials, familiarity with the Charlotte Intermodal market and CSX, NS, and CIT ramps, and experience with the CMC depot.
