Description
The JFK Dispatcher coordinates and schedules daily dispatch operations, monitors fleet status and driver locations, optimizes routes, communicates with drivers and clients, manages maintenance schedules, answers dispatch requests, and maintains accurate records. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, dispatching experience in transportation or logistics, fleet management software proficiency, and strong communication and multitasking skills. Preferred qualifications include advanced fleet maintenance coordination, transportation management systems familiarity, pressure management, and passenger transportation customer service. The position offers AM, mid, and PM shifts with flexible 4–8-hour daily availability.
