Description
The Transit Dispatcher assigns vehicles, equipment, and operators; monitors trip status and reassignments; handles customer information, cancellations, and directional assistance; supports operators during emergencies or vehicle malfunctions; reconciles trip manifests; maintains logs and safety standards; and reports drivers who fail to meet duty obligations. The role requires at least two years of radio or window dispatch experience, a valid driver license, strong communication and decision-making skills, flexibility for any shift, and successful drug and alcohol screening, background check, and physical examination.
