Description
The Dispatcher oversees a fleet of truck drivers by assigning and scheduling routes, communicating with drivers, monitoring deliveries, maintaining records, coordinating maintenance, optimizing routes and fleet performance, enforcing DOT and safety regulations, and resolving emergencies. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of dispatching or related experience, strong communication and multitasking skills, DOT knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
