The campus Public Safety Dispatcher serves as a dispatcher, dispatch office manager, information and data retrieval specialist, and mass communications operator. Responsibilities include receiving and coordinating emergency and non-emergency calls, monitoring radio and alarm systems, operating CAD and MULES/NCIC, dispatching law enforcement and other response personnel, managing keys and lost-and-found records, serving as a receptionist, and sending emergency alerts. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prefers one year of police dispatch experience and MULES certification, and involves lifting up to 20 pounds and prolonged sitting.
