Description
The Lead Hand coordinates daily dispatch of city and highway drivers, schedules drivers and equipment, supports workforce and vacation planning, communicates with customers and drivers, inspects equipment and yards, maintains dispatch and driver records, and provides coverage for driving assignments. The role also includes safe operation of bulk transport vehicles, loading and unloading, tank cleaning, logbook maintenance, and compliance with safety and industry regulations. The position follows a four days on, four days off rotational schedule, may include day, evening, overnight, and statutory holiday coverage, and pays $32.17 per hour initially, increasing to $34.67 per hour after three months.
