Description
The Dispatcher - Local supports day-to-day freight coordination by scheduling, assigning, and tracking shipments; entering shipment information; monitoring progress; communicating with drivers and independent contractors; escalating service issues; maintaining driver records; and supporting customer service and fleet operations. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and customer service skills, dispatch-system familiarity, Microsoft Office proficiency, reliable attendance, and on-site availability. Compensation is $23.00-$25.48 per hour on a Monday-Friday schedule from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
