Description
The NCEMS Communications Center Dispatcher receives and dispatches emergency and non-emergency calls, assesses and prioritizes situations, coordinates internal and external resources, documents calls in the CAD system, schedules ambulance and ambulette transfers, and assists with mental health transports. The role requires customer service, critical thinking, multitasking, confidentiality, and coordination with police, fire, life flight, hazmat, and EMS resources. It is a full-time night-shift position with medical and dental coverage, a 401K match, paid time off, tuition assistance, and shift, weekend, and PRN differentials.
