Description
The Dispatcher receives and responds to emergency and non-emergency calls from the public, university offices, security officers, and other emergency-service agencies; prioritizes and dispatches patrol officers and other security personnel; monitors security personnel and communications systems; maintains logs and sensitive information; and provides campus information to the public. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License, previous radio communication experience in law enforcement or emergency services, and successful completion of a 10-panel drug screening.
