Description

Reliable Robotics is hiring a Displays Software Engineer for its remote piloting software team. The role designs, architects, and builds real-time user interface applications for controlling automated aircraft systems, including embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware and browser-based applications. The engineer owns the application lifecycle and collaborates with software, systems, and pilot teams to develop safe, user-centered, and certifiable displays and controls. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience, at least five years of experience developing user-facing software for high-performance or mission-critical applications, and at least five years of professional C or C++ experience. Preferred qualifications include DO-178C experience, computer architecture and networking knowledge, graphical specification expertise, human-in-the-loop testing experience, browser technology expertise, and a private pilot license. The role requires travel up to 20% of the time and access to information subject to U.S. export controls.
