NVIDIA is hiring a Distinguished Engineer to serve as the founding technical leader for its AI Safety & Security Engineering team. The role owns the core harness architecture and engineering standards, guides the Find, Validate, and Patch technical roadmap, bridges research and production engineering, and mentors founding engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 18 years designing complex systems, and experience with distributed systems, ML pipelines, large-scale platforms, research-to-production engineering, and collaboration across engineering and research teams. Security, agent systems, and evaluation experience are advantageous. The base salary is 320,000 USD to 488,750 USD, with equity and benefits, and applications were accepted until September 15, 2026.
