Description
Wabash Valley Power is hiring a Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Program Specialist to develop, manage, and grow distributed energy programs involving battery storage, distributed generation, demand response, standby generation, and emerging technologies. The role partners with member cooperatives, customers, vendors, and contractors; provides technical guidance; monitors program performance and data; coordinates onboarding and project readiness; develops educational materials; and identifies opportunities to improve processes and scale offerings. The position requires strong attention to detail, initiative, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel periodically throughout the service territory; a valid driver's license is required, while PMP, CEM, NABCEP, and other energy-related certifications are preferred.
