Prime Intellect is hiring a Distributed Storage Engineer to design, operate, and optimize storage systems for frontier AI workloads. The role covers parallel filesystems, object storage, NVMe caching, throughput and latency benchmarking, capacity planning, replication and recovery, failure handling, access controls, monitoring, and automation. Candidates need at least three years of production distributed-storage experience, familiarity with platforms such as Lustre, BeeGFS, Ceph, or GPFS, strong Linux and performance-troubleshooting skills, and infrastructure automation experience. The position offers $150,000–$300,000 in cash compensation plus equity incentives.
