Description
The role supports the planning, coordination, installation, integration, testing, and lifecycle sustainment of U.S. Navy C5I systems aboard ships under construction, overhaul, and modernization at HII Newport News Shipbuilding. It serves as a technical liaison among Government representatives, shipyard personnel, engineering organizations, and installation teams, while conducting shipboard surveys, troubleshooting complex electrical, electronic, and networked systems, performing inspections and acceptance testing, preparing technical reports, and providing guidance to installation personnel. The position requires at least 10 years of experience supporting Navy shipboard C5I or electronic systems installations, knowledge of shipboard network integration and interoperability testing, and a Top Secret clearance; travel is not required and telework is not supported.
