Description
Prime Intellect is hiring a Distributed Systems Engineer to build the control plane and node-level runtime for its sandbox platform, placing sandbox workloads across bare-metal CPU and GPU workers, launching and supervising secure microVMs, and coordinating storage and networking. The role owns the sandbox product surface, including APIs, SDKs, and CLI, and works with research, customers, and engineering teams to move systems from discovery through production. Candidates need 5+ years of production distributed-systems experience, strong systems programming skills, Linux fundamentals, and expertise in virtualization, networking, storage, or workload isolation. The position offers $150,000–$300,000 in cash compensation plus equity, flexible work arrangements, visa sponsorship, and relocation support.
