Description
Censys is hiring a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer for its Internet Map Connections team to build highly available, scalable, data-driven services and tools supporting internal APIs, external applications, security research, and data platforms. The role involves developing data pipelines, messaging systems, databases, caching layers, and cloud or on-premises services; maintaining production systems; and collaborating with engineering, product, machine learning, and security teams. Candidates need at least five years of distributed systems software engineering experience, object-oriented programming in Go, cloud and message-queue experience, database familiarity, and knowledge of distributed systems concepts. The position is remote within the United States, with compensation ranging from $151,000 to $206,000 USD plus bonus eligibility and equity, depending on work location.
