Description
HDR is hiring a Distribution Designer to develop moderately complex overhead and underground electrical distribution work orders and job packages, including bills of material, permits, requisitions, site and construction drawings, and quality-control reviews. The role also involves field data collection, equipment identification, client and construction coordination, safety compliance, technical problem-solving, and mentoring junior engineers. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Microsoft Office skills, and an active commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture are required; EIT certification, architectural or engineering consulting experience, more than two years of distribution design experience, and Boud or Maximo experience are preferred.
