Description
Commonwealth is hiring a Distribution Engineer to plan, design, and execute electric distribution system projects from scoping through construction support and closeout. The role covers overhead and underground distribution projects, technical analyses, construction drawings, equipment specifications, cost estimates, permits, and coordination with clients and project stakeholders. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology for civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, at least four years of electric utility distribution engineering experience, and familiarity with utility design standards, safety codes, and CAD or GIS design tools; EIT certification is preferred.
