LaGrange County REMC is hiring a full-time Distribution Engineer to perform engineering analysis, design system improvements and line extensions, coordinate construction, manage the Advanced Metering Information platform, monitor and dispatch outages, investigate new technologies, and conduct system performance and power-quality studies. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, technology, or a related field and a valid driver’s license; utility industry standards and 2–5 years of distribution operations experience are preferred. The position pays $70,000–$90,000, offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, and is not remote.
