Xcel Energy is hiring a Grid Operations Engineering Intern to support the Distribution Control Center and ADMS software. The intern will assist with model tuning, non-communicating devices, alarm limits, special projects, outage coordination, power flow studies, and power system monitoring. The role is intended for a May 24, 2027 start date, with a possible extension based on performance and business needs. Applicants must be current students enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program, able to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year, and willing to commute in person to the designated work location.
