Description
Eversource is hiring one regular gas-piping field-service helper to remove, repair, replace, and install gas piping; investigate and repair gas odor complaints; conduct walking leak surveys and underground utility markouts; drill and tap gas mains; and operate pavement-breaking, backhoe, and dump-truck equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, DOT medical-card eligibility, physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and on-call emergency response. A commercial driver’s license is preferred, and two years of related experience is preferred for the helper level. The position pays $32.26 per hour, is union represented, and requires applicants to become union members.
