Description
Evergy is hiring a Distribution Project Oversight Engineer to provide technical oversight and coordination for large, complex capital, asset management, and priority customer projects. The role supports project delivery across engineering, design, construction, operations, GIS, supply chain, permitting, and external partners; reviews designs and deliverables; identifies technical risks; monitors contractors; resolves complex issues; and ensures energization, as-built documentation, GIS updates, and project closeout requirements are completed. The position is based in Topeka, Wichita, or Kansas City, Missouri, with office work and occasional field work, and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably electrical, along with 2–5 years of project management experience.
