Description
The Distribution Operations Manager supervises and coordinates employees, contract personnel, and service providers involved in receiving, picking, packing, inventorying, shipping, order processing, and warehouse operations. The role manages labor scheduling and staffing, customer service and account coordination, inventory accuracy, cycle and physical counts, material handling equipment, safety, sanitation, security, documentation, and performance improvement. It requires four years of industry-specific knowledge, inventory and accounting knowledge, leadership experience, communication and conflict-resolution skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
