Description
AECOM is hiring an experienced Distribution System Planner to support electric utilities, developers, government agencies, and other infrastructure stakeholders with electric distribution system planning, grid modernization, and infrastructure analysis. The role performs load forecasting, capacity and infrastructure planning, system performance and reliability assessments, distributed energy resource integration, electrification studies, microgrid and resilience planning, non-wires alternatives evaluations, and capital investment planning. The position requires a BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering plus six years of related experience, hands-on distribution planning experience, and familiarity with distribution analysis software such as CYME, Synergi Electric, WindMil, or ETAP. US employment authorization sponsorship and relocation are not available.
