Description

The role leads district operations program planning, budgeting, contract administration, performance management, resource oversight, and strategic support for the District Operations Director. It oversees transportation operations invoicing and traffic engineering contracts, develops annual and multi-year operating plans, monitors expenditures and performance indicators, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and provides policy, technical, and executive decision support.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Training, experience, or education in Business Administration, Operations Research, Operations Management, Financial Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience developing operational budgets and spend plans, monitoring and analyzing budget data, and preparing strategic and short-range plans.
Experience negotiating outcomes and working with diverse customer groups.
Experience or demonstrated capability administering professional services contracts, task orders, invoices, and contractor evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of transportation or systems engineering, program management, resource and workload management, intelligent transportation systems, and strategic planning.
Strong customer service skills and ability to provide technical and policy support.
Independent judgment, consensus building, communication, prioritization, and timely decision-making.
