The Home Care Medical Biller/Coder reviews patient account balances, assigns or reviews ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient medical records, and resubmits claims that were incorrectly denied. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, healthcare billing and coding support experience, computer and EMR/EHR proficiency, communication and organizational skills, and preferably Medical Biller/Coder certification.
