The Dock Coordinator receives, inspects, stores, and ships incoming freight; maintains inventory accuracy; coordinates yard and dock activities; prepares shipments; and supports warehouse safety and equipment maintenance. The role also supervises and trains employees, assigns work, and assists the Team Leader or Transportation Manager. It requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
