Description
The Freight Handler loads and unloads freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and straight trucks; operates forklifts and pallet jacks; secures, stacks, and verifies shipments; and documents shortages and damages. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English communication ability, and the ability to work varying schedules and physically handle freight. Preferred qualifications include warehouse or dock experience and forklift or hazmat training. The pay rate is $26.25 to $30.25 per hour based on experience.
