Description
Bergische Universität Wuppertal is seeking a part-time doctoral qualification researcher in theoretical physics to support the development and refinement of Monte Carlo numerical methods and high-performance computing simulations for lattice quantum chromodynamics. The role focuses on confined gluons, the hadron spectrum in flavor-singlet channels, and gluon decay into lighter hadrons, in collaboration with university working groups and researchers from DESY, the University of Regensburg, and Trinity College Dublin. The position is initially for up to three years, with an extension possible for PhD completion, and is limited to the duration of the doctoral procedure.
