Description
The Graduate School Life Science Munich (LSM) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München offers doctoral positions in bioinformatics, botany, epigenetics, ecology, neuroscience, plant genetics, and related life sciences. Candidates may pursue independent research proposals or join one of the listed projects, such as antisense oligonucleotide treatment for MAST3-associated epilepsy, avian cerebral organoids, microtubule-associated proteins, legume root symbiosis, or fruit defense against insects. Funding is still being secured, but supervisors support candidates in identifying fellowships, scholarships, or third-party funding. Applicants need a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant life science discipline, English proficiency, and a final examination completed within four years; there are no tuition fees.
