Description
The Turn/Grind Set Up Operator: CNC Operator sets up and operates CNC turning and grinding machines to manufacture precision metal components. The role involves reading blueprints, mounting workpieces, selecting and adjusting tools, entering CNC commands, monitoring and troubleshooting machines, inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments, performing preventive maintenance, recording production data, and following safety and ISO 9001 quality standards. It is an entry-level manufacturing position requiring a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience or training, and CNC turning and grinding experience, with on-the-job training provided.
