Description
Tutor Doctor is hiring part-time English tutors to provide one-to-one, personalized tutoring at the high school level, with a focus on essay writing, thesis statements, composition, structure, grammar, spelling, research, and citations. Tutors select students and schedule weekly appointments, travel to pre-screened student homes, and may work between 4 PM and 9 PM on weeknights and weekends. The role requires post-secondary education, proficiency in teaching and reviewing subject content, and access to a vehicle or public transportation; prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching experience is preferred. The position pays $24–$28 per hour and includes orientation, resources, support, and a simplified payment system.
