Description
The Door Person greets patrons, checks IDs, collects cover charges, provides security and safety, maintains bar supplies, protects patrons and staff, monitors the bar or club perimeter, and assesses customer aggression or intoxication. The role requires availability during peak business hours, including Fridays, Saturdays, and special events; the ability to assess threats and over-intoxication; comfort talking to people; and the ability to manage multiple people and situations while remaining composed. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to work at least 30 hours per week, including extended standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in noisy indoor and outdoor environments.
